I am Adam Szczepanski, a wedding photographer specialising in contemporary documentary and reportage wedding photography. I will provide you with a selection of wedding photos both in colour and black and white, all in a wedding album, custom design memory stick (ready to print) and a secure online photo gallery. I aim is to develop a really good relationship with each couple I work with - this will allow me to produce your wedding pictures that we are all happy with.
I believe I have a natural ability to put the bride and groom at ease in front of my camera so that I can capture your beauty, personality, uniqueness, and your feelings on your very special day. My style of wedding photography is natural and documentary, sometimes also called photojournalism or reportage wedding photography. I follow the events of the day, photographing unobtrusively, capturing real moments as they happen. I tend not to pose your shots unless you want me to do so. My goal is to tell the story of your wedding day, capturing the fun and emotions, translating them into beautiful fresh and modern pictures. I will document all the key moments, from the bridal preparations through out to the first dance.
Photography is a visual poetry, music, heart, and soul for me; it is like a very good wine. My style is relaxed, but professional, vibrant, and creative. I will photograph your wedding day through my eyes, but I always listen to you to find out what you like and want, as well as what you do not like. And it is vital you both feel at ease with me as I play an important part on your day, so this is why i always take time to meet you far in advance.
But what does it mean to be a Reportage Wedding Photographer? Is it the same as a Documentary Wedding photographer? Well, these two terms are actual the same to me. In short, it is a fly on the wall approach, tell the story of the day as it happens, be invisible, I often ask the couple to ignore me and let me do my job, which is to look for the particular emotional moments, interesting and flattering angles and exciting light. I intend to create fine art photos which you will want to put on canvas on the wall or treasure then in a wedding album.
I mainly offer reportage wedding photography in London and Surrey, but I am also happy to travel to Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Essex, Kent, Sussex, well in one word the rest of UK but also to Spain and Poland. I constantly improve my photography skills by attending photographic workshops and seminars, my dream is to be considered as one of the best wedding photographers London, wedding photographer Surrey, Middlesex and ther rest of the UK.
